For me, it's about

sharing a

Same path

Goals in life

Going through the same way

And trying to evolve the same way with the person even though you're different

But I do not link intimacy to sex because for me for example, I'm in an open marriage

And and if intimacy was so important

For me, I guess I would not see myself

With other people and maybe doing this business, but this is my point of view

So I do not think intimacy at all to sex. It's more

of treating two different persons

Not the same way

When I can be intimate with which is my husband and the other people I see I'm not intimate.

I feel maybe not insecure because we all have something but we are not insecure more or less

We when we don't feel intimacy how we understand it our way
