Magical words for yourself a guide to dealing with anxiety. It is a normal human emotion however if it
becomes excessive it can have a negative impact on your lives. How to overcome anxiety?
First recognize your anxiety. The first step in overcoming anxiety is to recognize it. Take note
of the thoughts and feelings that arise when you start to worry. Ask yourself these five questions
to understand the thoughts and feelings that arise when you feel anxious. In what situation do I feel
anxious? For example before an interview, during a presentation on the subway. What thoughts come to
mind during these moments? For example I will fail at everything. An anxiety journal is an excellent and
truly effective method. Give it a try. After making a list you will realize that you are beginning to
control your anxiety. Where control begins panic subsides. Secondly challenge your anxious thoughts.
Often our actions thoughts are unfounded. Challenge them. Ask yourself how likely is this scenario? Do I have
evidence that this will happen? I have noticed that 90% of worries are unfounded and never come true.
